Hong Kong, 19 November 2025 — Since 2005, the famous French fashion brand American Vintage has developed a unique universe with its iconic style that goes far beyond its women’s, men’s, and children’s wardrobe. The design team aimed to reflect the brand's consistent core values, encouraging physical health and mental well-being, as well as promoting the concepts of "teamwork" and "sportsmanship,". American Vintage is launching its first-ever sports collection for adults, offering a range of comfortable, well-fitting sportswear that allows you to dress with unrestrained freedom and showcase an effortless chic for any sporting occasion.
Michaël Azoulay founded the American Vintage brand in Marseille in 2005, inspired by the United States. He was struck by the vast open spaces and the relaxed atmosphere they create, leading him to redesign the most timeless basic, the T-shirt. Since its inception, American Vintage has been dedicated to creating sleek, comfortable, and effortlessly wearable pieces designed as wardrobe staples for all seasons. Bold colors, distinctive prints, patchwork details, and soft fabrics have become the brand’s signature, capturing an easygoing spirit while empowering individuals to express their unique styles. More than just clothing, American Vintage embodies an authentic and refined approach to everyday living.
The American Vintage adult sports collection adheres to exquisite craftsmanship, focusing on premium materials and comfortable tailoring. Inspired by retro and contemporary styles, it injects the brand's classic elements into a series of activewear, including sports bras, sports T-shirts, sports sweatshirts, and leggings. This creates a modern, stylish look, showing that even activewear can be fashionable. To pay homage to the brand, the activewear infuses the brand's founding year "05" logo in different places, and also features the "American Vintage Sports Club" wording, which appears for the first time, reflecting two of the brand’s core values: "teamwork" and "sportsmanship." In terms of colors, The sports collection uses the brand’s signature colors, including mineral tones, warm hues, and pop shades. In terms of materials, lightweight, breathable, and stretchable fabrics have been selected, including nylon, spandex, and polyester. These allow you to move freely, stay cool and comfortable during exercise, it's definitely become a must-have item for sporting occasions.
The new American Vintage sports collection is available online, selected American Vintage stores in Hong Kong and selected American Vintage stores Macau from now. The selected Hong Kong American Vintage store locations are K11 Musea, Pacific Place, Times Square and Fashion Walk, while the selected Macau store location is Shoppes at Venetian.
